I recently purchased a 1996 Lexus ES300 and the paint color/trim code is 3K7/LQ95. I've tracked down the 3K7 to be Shadow Rose Quartz. The trim code, however, I can't seem to find anywhere. My car needs new seats and I want to match the color but I can't find it anywhere. Taupe is listed for LQ45, but I can find no record for LQ95. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Go to tools at the top of the page and Vin decoder. Or Here https://www.clublexus.com/forums/vindecoder.php

Unless you plan on buying parts from the dealer I don't see how the interior colour code helps you. If you find a donor car with the same exterior colour it will likely have the same interior as yours. That code is listed in the parts diagrams however.

I've been looking for a donor car. No luck just yet, but I was wondering if someone had any experience with replacing or researching this "chocolate" color. I plan to continue to look for a donor car.Originally Posted by Lexus2000
