My '97 es300 (133k) popped up with a po773 code last night. I've read through a lot of threads and it doesn't seem like this is something i'll be able to fix right away. I'm in Texas for about 2 more weeks and will be headed back to San Diego, 1,400 miles in about 24 hours, and am wondering if I need to take this drive easy. That's my main concern. Would love to not be stuck in East Texas for ever I'll have to get an oil change before I leave, should i go ahead and get a quick drain and fill?
three starts later I turned on the car and it was off, quickly shut the car off and restarted and it was back on. About three starts since and it's been on every time. Although rare, this suggests intermittent? electrical? Not a car guy, sorry.
Any and all input appreciated, thanks!
