Default activate automatic locking doors

Hello all,

I would like to know if there is a way to activate the automatic door locking when leaving the car, my car is oiut of warranty and i remember that i had that option on my car, but for some reason, i doesn't now. I've tried leaving the fob far from the car, but the doors does not locking automatically for any reason.

thank you.

The ONLY way you can make changes to the door locking or automatic window opening is by having a Lexus dealer do it. I went through this on my '09 ES 350. To get your money's worth, ask the service advisor what options are available and get everything done in one visit.

Not an ES feature that I've ever heard of and I've had 3 of them (02,07,10)

Only feature close to that is an automatic "relock".
Basically, if you are OUTSIDE the car and unlock it with remote...the car will automatically lock the doors again after an adjustable amount of time if you don't open any of the doors.

I think it was 30 or 60 seconds if I recall .

You are mistaken.

There is only the feature that the poster above mentioned.
