For the guys with systems and electronics in the car. How much load can the alternator take before issues will come up?

I have a 1998 and have been running an 1100W amp for 4 years with no problem other than a few blown fuses. Turing on my rear defog dims the lights more than turning on the amp.

Damn jo I didn't think these alternators would be able to handle more than 800 without dimming lights and rough idle
