Having just moved up from 98 ES (which had two-position wiper blades) to a 2011 ES350, I'm afraid to start pushing and pulling them to winter position (I actually have tried it, gently already). Cant find any info on it, so can anyone tell me if Lexus stopped doing the 2-position thing some time back, or should i just apply more pressure?

The two position feature is still there.......it helps if you grab both wiper arms at the same when you apply the force to change the position. Like you, I was initially chicken.

 

If you're trying to pull them into the up position you have to pull HARD. You already know what it takes. Dont be afraid!

Thanks guys. What a wimp I am. All I needed was that encouragement. BTW, these wiper arms are much sturdier than those on my old '98.
