Hi Everyone,

Hi have a 1997 es300, just got a new head unit & having problems installing it properly.
I purchased the amp integration harness [metra 70-8112] color match all the wires turn the stereo on it had power for about 3min then the amp went dead.

I purchased a new amp, but don't want to make the same mistake, I read on here that to use the factory amp with an aftermarket head unit i should cut the speaker wires coming from the amp & connect them directly to the speaker wires coming from the head unit, I connected them.

I have no idea where the power, battery & ground wire coming from the amp is located, **I need help locating them, to power up the new head unit and help with how to connect the factory sub also.**

I've been without a radio for about 2 weeks now, & its frustrating driving in silence.

If anyone has an aftermarket stereo working with the factory amp, that can help me, or direct me to help would be great. Anything can be helpful.
