check engine trac off
I have changed oxygen sensor, maf sensor on my car. now the guys at autozone say the latest scan says ks sensor and c1201. has anyone ever encountered this problem? the ks is listed at autozone for $180.00. I would appreciate any hints as to what to do. thank you very much.

i have that light on my car all the time its bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor doesnt really mater just drive it as long at its pulling off without hesitation and your rpms kick up in response to your foot on the pedal correctly i wouldnt worry about anything , trac off light is on because of the code for the catlytic converter.. u may have a clogged cat have someone put there hand near ur exhaust and rev it in neautral you can tell if there is flow coming out or not

What trouble code is your computer giving you? I just changed my oxygen sensor as well, but CEL is still on and trac off. My car is showing code p1354 which is related to the variable valve timing. This would mean you need to replace the OCV solenoid bank 2, which may or not be the problem your having but its possible.

thank you for the info. the codes displaying are C1201 and P0330 the p code is supposed to be knock sensor which unfortunately is located underneath the intake manifold which involves taking the manifold off. I have already changed the 0xy sensor in front. light went out but came back.. thank you for all your suggestions.

ES 330 Check Code C 1201
I just replaced the timing belt and water pump after 86000 miles on a 2005 ES330. The car ran okay prior to the timing belt replacement protocol. I also had the code for O2 sensor on passenger side lower location at entrance to catalytic converter. I also had minor oil leaks.
After the service was completed the check engine light and the other two indicators, I got code C 1201 which could not be cleared until the battery cable was disconnected.
Does anyone know what this code means?? So far the check engine light has not turned on.
