XM Nav Traffic?

Default XM Nav Traffic?
I'm a new owner of an ES300h and had XM Nav Traffic in my previous car. I understand from my dealer that traffic data is provided by Lexus. Do I still need XM traffic?

Since my trial expired I just pull out my phone and use Google Maps to figure out when I should exit the freeway based on traffic. And it's free.
