I have a 1997 ES300 and would like to set it up to automatically lock the doors when you turn on the ignition and unlock when you turn off the ignition like the newer models. Has anyone done this?

It's dooable by using a bunch of relays, wires, and finding the orrect splicing points, However, it's not as convenient as you think it is, Infact it becomes a nuisance very fast. Not to mention the extra wear nd tear on the locking mechanisms.

My wife has that feature on her car, and she would love it if it could be turned off.
