I recently bought an HID conversion kit for my car and and the bulbs do not want to clip in. It seems as though there needs to be a spacer for the bulb to be clipped in by the piece that looks like a paper clip. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?
1. You can make one [when I first installed HID's years ago, these didn't exist, shortly after they were somethign like 30$/pair. Now you can get them dirt cheap.
2. With some creativity you can also make the stock one work by drilling out a hole and carefully run the wires that way, it will sit cockeyed, so you have to play with the bar and push it forward a bit.
