im new here , im thinking of purchasing a 2001 es300

there 2 problems with it , one is theres a misfire and the car always struggles to start

and 2 the is running lean , and when i drove the car had no pull or accelaration it was lacking serious performance

what can be the issue of this ?

 

If it's doing all that then it has to have codes, start there. Could be a failing coil, could be a failing injector, could be unmetered air coming in behind the MAF. You need a code to tell you where to start.

 

Could be bad gas if it has sat for a long time without being driven. Definitely need to get a look at any codes it may have in the computer as mdbrown mentioned. Did you look under the hood? Might be a whole host if things wrong that you can see by peeking under the hood.
