Default Mileage/Reliability Question

Hello all,

I have a question about my ES300. I used to drive an 02 Altima till I totaled it earlier this week. My second car is the Lexus. My ES300 has 245,000 miles on it. I will be replacing the rear motor mount and dog bone mount this weekend.

I will most likely be using the Lexus for my job which involves driving several hundred miles a week. What are my chances of something major happening to the car/engine driving the car that much. I know that risks are higher but should be something I should worry about or take my chances?

As long as you keep up on the timing belt and keep all your fluids current (I.e. Oil, transmission fluid), the chances of your ES breaking down are slim to none. My buddy has a camry with almost 400K on it. Original motor and trans too.

if the previous owners took care of it and did preventative maintenance it should be good.
These cars are pretty reliable.
