Thumbs up Newbie impressed

I got my 97 ES300 about 2 months ago. She was previously pampered and enjoyed for 60K. So far I'm loving this ride. As a mid 40 something avowed car nut. I've owned over 35 cars and motorcycles in my life already. This car ranks right up there and far above my last 2 near luxo rides. My Infiniti J30 was nice but the depreciation on it was painful and my Acura Legend performed great for me and then my wife until body cancer took over (typical Honda). I expect neither of those problems with the Lex. Also, I wonder about some of the comments regarding handling in snow and ice, and where they come from. It seems some of you are either afraid or don't know how to drive in inclement weather. As a resident of upstate NY where snow is certainly a fact of life. The few times I've had my car out in it this year she handles as well or better than FWD I've ever driven. She does have traction control though, (and the heated seats keep the cheeks warm). Plus this is with all season tires. As far as putting it up in the winter. NO WAY! These things are meant to be driven.
Great site and keep giving the good info.
