Hey guys on my 2001 es300 the drivers window fell down into the door when i started to roll the windows down and when i got home i proceeded to take the door panel off to see what happened and the cable to the regulator was just sitting in the bottom of the door. It had snapped off the the slide that attaches to the piece on the window. So i called Auto zone and orielys and they both only had the rear window regulators does anyone know where i could get a cheap new one??

Try Sewell Lexus online parts. They are probably the deepest Discounted OE Lexus parts available. There is an additional discount for Club members. Worth at least looking into

 

They are almost 400 from any dealership, i paid $75 for a used one with a motor and the regulator and put it in myself in about 2 hours, mainly because i am useless at fixing things and it took a lot of adjustments.

 

Or have the option of getting a used one off of a salvage yard vehicle.

 

Thanks guys ya the dealer ship is trying to charge me a lot of money for one so i guess a used one would be cheaper but do the older es300 regulators fit the 2001 model? because i found a brand new oem one for a 96 for 185 with motor and all.

 

I think that only 97's to 01 will work.
