Known issues with a 2000 Es300

i have a 2000 es 300 and i have had it for about 8 yrs. i am recently having trouble with the track light and engine light coming on . no one seems to know what the problem is . i have paid 300 to have it fixed but the light came back on and now they are saying it may cost me 700.
tonight my battery and oil light came on. so now im thinking i may need to trade. been a great car though. pcb1968
