clear coat problems

Unhappy clear coat problems

Any ideas on clear coat lifting in multiple areas , qurter sized spots...

Nothing can be done about clearcoat failure except repainting the panel/surface.

To slow it down, keep your vehicle properly waxed and washed.

My bad, I thought he was saying he wanted to remove clear coat
If the oxidation isn't too bad, you can get some paint oxidation removal made by turtle wax. It works well for me...

Clear coat just doesn't last for the lifetime of the car unless you wax it and keep it garaged, protecting it from UV rays. Most cars that are 15-20 years old have paint problems.

Nothing lasts forever, even diamonds. Proper prep in the beginning was key. Unfortunately with the way it is now, complete failure on the entire car will probably be unavoidable. Sorry bud
