Default MAF/IAT sensor

Hi Everyone

Glad to have found this site!

Have a 2007 Lexus ES350

Just ordered & received (perhaps a sucker) from Autochipsdirect.com a moduel which states a 8-40 horsepower improvement and 2-5 gallon per mile fuel increase. Paid $70 dollars and planing to attached the moduel.

The company instulation states to attach the unit to the MAF/IAT pink and green wire red stripe.

Having located the sensor I see the pink wire but not a green with red stripe wire. Perhaps being color blind is a factor.

OK: The sensor has 5 wires do I atach it to the green and pink wires?

Secondly: Has anyone else purchased this chip if so did I make a good investment or was I the sucker born the past minute.

Have 30 days to return the item and was wondering if I should return it?

If returned is there a better brand or ideas to increase the horsepower? not concerend with fuel milage just hsp.

Thanking everyone in advance.

gg

DO NOT install this damn thing. Every auto forum on the planet (and I've now been a member of four of them) has dealt with this thing, and it ain't worth diddly. It can actually create problems.

I do a lot of reading on things automotive and have never seen a report saying these things work. In all cases they've been debunked. If it sounds too good to be true for $70...........

Follow oldrump's advice.

Thank's BOB & OLDGRUMP

I'm sending the item back today. Yes I will have to pay for shipping but this is cheaper than having a check engine light from coming on!
