actually egainer's correct. TruenoHachiRok is the youngest. he's a friend of mine. we go to the same school. He just turned 15 in october, and is starting driving school... next week i think... well the whole Royal Purple thing... Royal Purple is a very well working engine oil. My brother first found it, and we've been putting it in the ES ever since he disovered how well the car ran after changing. the RX is still running on engine oil from lexus, not synthetic (i don't think). but my bro's accord and the ES are both running on Royal Purple. the potential of that engine oil amazes me. i sort of went over the supposed 3 month, 5000 miles thing... but the car ran GREAT... there was no difference in engine power, or anything. it's actually proven to increase horsepower. i think i went almost 13k without changing the oil... oops... this was mainly because the car used to be my dad's, and he's been coming and going out of the country, so he never got around to changing the oil. and since i have my permit, and drive it to school every morning, i finally noticed the oil change sticker... and it was like a LONG time ago. so got that changed. but if Royal Purple is in access anywhere around you. that's the one single engine oil i suggest.

Dude LEXUS=THE BEST FOR YOUR CAR.
Use premium gas to not just maximize power and fuel efficiency but to make sure you are helping the engine last as long as possible...

lol i'm not diagree-ing with ya sick, but the gas prices here are already pretty scary high. if you're in dallas, you know what i mean. i personally want the ES to last as long as it can. maybe even 200k, but with the prices still not decreasing, i don't have much of a choice, so i loaded up on premium synthetic engine oil to make up for the loss from lower octane gasoline.
