My cd changer has been giving me ERR errors as the signal when I switch from the radio or the tape (yes i still have my cassettes) back to the cd changer...i have tried using those cd disk cleaners..but it does not even load it up it just says ERR when i insert the 6 disk cartridge. it shows that it loads the cd's but then ERR shows in the display...

Please help !!! with ideas or suggestions or anyone done a DIY takeout and cleaned the changer physically.

 

Make sure you have the cds facing the right way.

The lexus changer takes the cd's "upside down" than normal aftermarkets.

 

True, i made the first mistake when loading up my changer for the first time

 

is that the only problem it could be?

cause i have the same problem but im sure i tried the cd's both ways.

 

YUP, i have them in the right way, I was looking for help on why i'm getting the err message when they show they are loading..but then they dont play.. no they are not scratched, they are brand new cd's
