8425033280 is the part #.

Here's a link to a new set on ebay:

Did a google search on part number and found it way cheaper:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEXUS-8425033280-GENUINE-OEM-REMOTE-CONTROL-/171111693901?_trksid=p2054897.l4275

I'd really like to swap mine too but just don't have the coin. My stock buttons still work/look good though.

That is so much better look for the 07; mine are starting to peel from that rubber texture that is on the surface of the buttons. That is going on the Christmas list!

Here is the link, that I used to purchase the part.

http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...id=26491732580

The part # should be 84250-33280 or 84250-33290, depending on whether you have bluetooth, the radar option.

The approach is doable. Actually, I am using it on my 2007 ES350. It works perfectly.

Does that mean the subsequent generations don't have this defect?

There is no link in English.

A better way is asking someone who knows Chinese for help.

open link with chrome and it will translate the site for you, also looks like you could pick up at your favorite 7-11 store.
