Talking Thanx!!!

i am just trying to do new mods since I have almost all of them already.. I have seen the pics also, but dont want to drill into my car or anything, if I dont know what I am doing. Rust is my big concern after doing that. Let me know whats up..

When I installed the sidemarkers on my friend's Solara, the area to be drilled was applied with some masking tape first, so the outline can be drawn with a marker, after measuring out carefully so that both sides would be equal.

Once a pilot hole is made, you can use a unibit to enlarge the hole to the appropriate size.

For the exposed metal, I just used some undercoating.

Wire up the sidemarker to the corner lights and just secure them down.

Just make sure all the measurements are correct, because once drilling begins, there is no turning back.

Talking Thank you very much!!!!!!!

That is REALLY HELPFULL!!!! Thank you very much.. Where did you spray the undercoating though.. On the front or on the back of the fender, and did the wires come through to the engine bay or what?? Let me know please.. By the way where are you at in Chicago Luc.. Have you checked out Chicago Lexus Club Thread... you should meet up with us sometime..

Undercoating was only applied around the hole, where the exposed metal is present; a few layers doesn't hurt, once it's dried up. For the wiring, I pulled the wheel fender liner down a bit and ran the wires inside there; just a few clips, but might be different on your ES. Then the wires are just tapped into the corner light wires.
