Default Amber corners

I wonder in Euro if the kids add amber to their corner lights to look like Americans. Just a thought.

^^ Lexus' are for EU ballers'.

And most of them either came as USA imports, and if you are made of money you can afford to buy a true EDM Lexus. Then again all the Lexus' in EU spec have the amber... not all clear like the JDM versions.

Check the 'windom hot pics' thread, i posted hundreds of images and the Japanese add amber to their corners to replicate ours or actually take the lens and retrofit it onto their corner lights

THose pics are a few years old, and well, those guys aren't on here. They were found on thatr JDM cardomain - the name escapes me though.

i had the same problem even after i changed my alternator.
found out it was the bulbs. i had 194's, did a lil research and found out the bulbs are supposed to be 168's...
194's rated at 2w
168's rated at 3w

i think i payed $3.00 for the pair.
i tried leds but got the lights out warning because of the low power consumption, so i went with the 168's...no more warning

i found some better specs for the bulbs....
168 bulb specifications:
amp/watt: .35A / 4.9W
lumens: MSCP:3 (candle power)

194 bulb specifications:
amp/watt: .27A / 3.78W
lumens: MSCP:2 (candle power)

158 bulb specifications:
amp/watt: .24A / 3.36W
lumens: MSCP:2 (candle power)

161 bulb specifications:
amp/watt: .19A / 2.66W
lumens: MSCP:1 (candle power)

^^ I have to check them out.

I have a mix/match set in there now [for all lights], and i have to get all new stuff in the spring. First i'll try the alternator.

ok cool. good luck... the alternator will def stop the flickering....and replacing the mismatched bulbs will stop the lights out warning...
bty thanx for the diy led retrofit... got em all done... except the glovebox which i screwed up...gonna try something soon tho to fix it...
got a few projects i wanna start but its freezing outside, waiting for the weather to improve. ill have a diy a morimoto mini h1 projecter retrofit....

fiinaly took pix




maybe i got lucky because they fit just as good as stock with no gaps inbetween the fenders....
overall im happy with the outcome
