^^ they all do, its to protect bikers from getting killed by a non-moving mirror, but primarily for tight parking lots. Just push towards them a little and they pop in.

 

Do you have any pics of the cutoff? I'm interested in getting these for my retrofit project too. Also, what temp/time did you use to bake open your headlights?

 

never got the chance to take pix of the cutoff but it was pretty sharp and very bright at night with 5000k hid's. 175* for five mins then i pried them open a lil. put back in for 2 mins pried some more till i got them open... go slow and take your time dont force them open ...
