There is no way that's 20K/10K. In my experience, color temps of 8K and above start to see drastic decreases in light output and starts turning blue and eventually purple. With 20K lights, you would have no light output and the light would be purple.

A good DIY that has helped me a lot on accessing the fogs: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es3...7-99-more.html

There are a few more steps involved in installing HID's because of the ballasts and extra wiring, but the basics are there.

Whatever floats you're boat. I believe in function over form when it comes to crucial components like lighting, brakes, tires, etc.

Not some riceroni-grade-HID-570522390402347K 'lights' [and i use the term loosely]. Since from the above pic, my DRL bulbs are just as 'bright' as your lowbeams... lulz and half of that picture got its light from the camera.

yeh i get u, im just messin around with chit right now, course will redo everthing from head to toe, piece by piece, achieve that quality as well as for performance, all depends on how much time/money i put into it, just have too many other projects to work on that are in progress

ok i just got in from work..... my fogs are 10k.......
headlights are 30k .... not gonna lie i did have better visability with the 8000k, but i live in NY and there are street lights every 20 yards so i went with the 30000k for the looks not the performance... i mean i can still see clearly at night...but i just liked the way the blue looks

by the way the link was only an example.... i didnt do the install. i got it done at a shop where i live....$150 for the headlights installed.... plus a 2year warranty on the whole setup....installed a year ago no problems at all yet. they dont flicker on bumps or anything..im satisfied plus if something goes wrong i get the whole kit replaced for free...ballast and bulbs... not to bad of a deal imo.

lmao bad camera positioning maybe, but with my drl's, im blind as bat at night, and these aftermarket hid's are huge difference for me, compared to stock hid too so i say it was a very good investment, just not the color i was hoping for
going to go for the projector mod, already have ordered the shrouds, remote led strips, and rings, i know that will make a big difference
def need better night shots as well for this, maybe thats why
