I have a 93 ES300, 145K miles. I hear (and sometimes feel) a "thump" when I take my foot off the gas. The "thump" does not happen when accelerating and seems to shift gears fine when accelerating. The "thump" almost seems to happen more frequently and is more promident at lower speeds. I can't tell it the thump is coming from the front or the back of the car. I'm thinking the transmission is going.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
