Default Cracked leather

I noticed both my rear door leather side panels have several cracks in the leather. Has anyone else experienced anything like this. The vehicle is still under factory warranty, will they cover this? I had two bmw's and never had a problem with the leather.

That is a bummer ! do you park the car in the sun often causing the leather to dry out?
If you use a sunshield and window tint it can help keep your leather soft.
My seats in the Porsche are dried out from parking the car with the top down in the sun all day.
I would hope they cover that under warranty.
Let us know how it works out

I have the same problem and complained to the people at the dealer. They just say use leather condition. I only have 1,500miles on my car and it is scuffed. Dissapointed in the design flaw. I'm thinking its also because of the stuffing inside of the seat is too soft, so the leather stretches. I wonder if the seat will eventually split open and crack. My 93' infiniti's leather already cracked open... Anyone got any suggestions?
