Default AC Condensor Issue.

I was looking for a little advice on an air conditioning issue that my car has. The dealership said that my AC Condensor along with the hose was leaking on my 2000 ES300. They also said that it would cost $1500.00 to have fixed. I found a AC Condensor on Ebay for less than 100 dollars shipped. My question is what does it take to replace it and the hose and where is it located on my car? I thought it would be loacted near the radiator becauee I know that the condensor itself looks like a mini radiator but I couldn't find it myself. Much help is appreciated. Thanks.

The condenser is located in front of the radiator and their shapes are approximately the same. I think you should get a second opinion since there are many possible sources of gas leakage in an auto A/C system. Attached is a diagram showing it on a 1997 ES300.
