05 Lexus ES330 rear window won't open!!

Left rear window was stuck. Had to slam the door about 15 times but it finally did the trick and now it functions as it should. Sad that my car had the right rear regulator replaced under previous ownership when I'm sure this trick would have worked.

Tried the door slam fix several times on 3 different occasions. First 2 tries failed to unstick the window. Tried it again yesterday and it appeared that it was not going to work again......the switches didn't work. I was driving the car this morning and Halleuia, the window works now! Thanks for the help, just keep trying if it doesn't work the first or second time, third time may be the charm!!!!!

Rear power windows don't go down

Because the windows are not operated regularly, The rubber sticking around the windows. I suggest: After the windows are operating again I would roll it down and then apply light silicone spray along the tracks, front back and top. Then cycle the windows up and down a few times and it should work perfectly.
Then I would cycle the windows up and down at least once a week if you can remember. Normally we roll the driver window up or down every time we get in the car even if for only a small distance. I take that opportunity to auto lower all of the windows. Then I roll them back up. I haven't had another issue with it since that time. Reapplication of silicon spray is optional but I do that occasionally just to make sure they don't stick.

My windows in my Lexus ES300 haven't worked for atleast a year. Honestly, I have had the car 2 years and didn't know if they had ever worked because nobody rides in the back seat. Both of my back windows wouldn't go down but clicked when buttons were pressed. My husband had tried to fix them a couple times. I went out and cranked my car, slammed each door once while holding the down window button, and they each started working on the FIRST DOOR SLAM! Now, I'm the master mechanic in the house

I had to do the "trick" 3 times before I saw a note to follow up with silicone lube in the window tracks and upper seal in the door. A couple of doses of silicone did the trick, windows work fine now and I do exercise the windows about once a month.

I had the same problem, and thanks to everyone for the suggestions! I just want to add something that helped me. I tried slamming the door a few times, but it didn’t work. Then, I tapped the window with my fist a few times and tried slamming the door again — and it worked!
