Default Does any one know how to remove this?



My door trimming is coming off and i need to get a new one from the junk yard but dont know how to safely take it off with breaking the clips.any suggestions

I don't know that you can safely remove the cladding without damaging the clips. But you can order new clips from Lexus....pricey tho!

If you open the door, you will see 2 black round covers. Pry these off and yo will see 2 bolts that help hold on the bottom cladding. To get the rest of the clips off w/o breaking them, you will need to remove the inside door panel. Once this is done, you will see the clips that help hold on the cladding. Just help push these out and the panel should come off. Toyota did use adhesive tape too to help hold on the panel.....just becareful when pulling it away once you have the other 2 things taken care of.....
