If your goign to ask for help, it;s usually a good idea to actually say more on the car and actually give a discription of the issue.

What is wrong with posting the year of the car to be clear to other people?
And the transmission type could also be helpful too, especially if you have a 92 or a 93.
You do know the forum rules and common sense don't you? First posts here are not helping you.

Now, we all make mistakes. So about calling people smart asses ... they are just smart and you can guess just what you are. I love the subaru forester website. Most everyone is thoughtful, adhering to forum rules, friendly and mature. They also know how to write in English. I wish we could have that here. Every car attracts a certain demographic.

Go on google website, type:
what can cause little acceleration
Notice how many possible answers there are?

Now, if you're looking for car specific wisdom, here you go.
On the 92/93 models [with the VAF [air meter]] there is an issue with stumbling on acceleration, when cold, on the first acceleration right around 10-20 mph. It's caused by the accumulation of oily dirt on the internal parts and can be fixed by cleaning, but if its very worn out , then one can remove the plastic cover and manually adjust the potentiometer inside just like VAFs on other cars -- and there is a hidden, recessed screw that can also help tune the car.

I guess searching on here : acceleration problem
and reading would have been too much work. But wasting the time of good ppl like ASG, well, you couldn't careless.

I agree, if the person cannot expend the effort to give more than a single line description than it is not worth our effort to even respond. The regulars here know that the people here are interested in helping people. But when you get a 1 post, one liner, it is very hard to justify trying to help.
