ES300 2002 Sensor Codes Galore
About 2 months ago I started having problems with my car riding rough, the check engine light came on as well as the Trac and VSC. I took it to a mechanic who ran a total of 3 cleaning treatments - and assured me this would correct the problem. It did no!
Took it to a new mechanic - he did tons of research found that the fuel sensor needed to be replaced, did that problem solved... for about a week, all the lights came back on and the following codes came up:
2 - P0156
P0420
P0302
P0300
P0304
P0306
2 new oxygen sensors were then put in and still the same codes! And it is riding R O U G H! At this point I have put $2000 (this included a brake job along the way) in my car and I am wondering if I should cut bait as that I cannot continue to put this kind of money in to it.
I purchased this car because of it reliability rating... The thought by the mechanic is to replace the Cat perhaps, he is going to run some test on it today.
Any thoughts, ideas or similar experiences out there.
