Default 2003 ES300 Intermittent Stalling

Folks, I have a 2003 ES300 and there's a stalling issue with it and it only happens when I come to a complete stop. The car will shutter and stall when I come to a complete stop. The stupid thing is that it'll run okay for a week and then then, bam, it'll stall the whole day. So, some days, I'll have to restart the car 10 times just to drive 3 miles to the bank. The next day, it'll be okay, and maybe a couple weeks later the same thing will happen.

Any of you guys ever have this happen?

Thanks in advance.

Pop the hood and check for loose, and/or broken vacuum lines.

maybe the transmission is not coming out of the following combination: overdrive with lock up clutch.

either way, we can't tell you for sure over the web. youll have to take it in for diagnosis.

check your vaccum lines first...there are several going to the intake box, so check those first

if it continues, you could have a bad throttle control module...the issue with these is that its part of the throttle body unit since the car has a drive by wire throttle...This is expensive but the symptoms match those of cars ive had to replace the throttle unit on

Thanks for replying guys. It's still happening and yeah I think it's the throttle body because the RPM can be "jumpy" at times.

Another thing I noticed is that it only happens when I fill up the tank all the way. Could the Fuel Pump be a culprit, too?

Thanks again.
