98 Lexus ES300 ECU compability
I have a 98 Lexus ES300 with what we think is a bad ECU, we've diagnosed everything else, its a periodic stalling issue.
I have to gun it to keep it running and by the time you get to the shop, its running perfect... no problems for weeks, then it starts again.
I've had a similar problem with my 94 ES and replacing the ECU (used $100) fixed it.
So, to the question...
the ECU is model # 89661-3T320
I haven't found an exact match (so far) on the web.
Are their other ECU's that are compatible with this model?
I've had good luck in the past with used parts so I have no intention of forking over 1K for a replacement at the dealership...

Would reflashing your current ecu solve the problem? If not, then here are a couple of sites that sell the reconditioned ecu's.
