Default Squeaky Belt

I have 110k miles on my 02 ES, have done timingbelt, waterpump, drivebelts replaced July 08 at 110k miles. Recently noticed when it's really cold outside and turn on the heat to higher setting belt squeaks pretty bad, normal for this mileage? should i take it back? something else might need to be replaced?

Yes, you should take it back to adjust. Make sure you got the OEM belt instead of aftermarket.

It was done at Toyota dealership, so I am sure they used all OEM parts. All it needs is adjusting to it?

I think the noise came from AC or alternator belts. Spray some water to each belt and find out if it goes away or not. Let them tighten a bit more if it does.

I called them today and they told me to bring it back in for them to diagnose. We'll see what happens...

I remember that my 02 ES would squeal when it was really cold outside when I would turn the wheel for the first few times thus indicating that mine was due to the belt going to the power steering pump. It was only upon initial start up. Once the engine compartment got warm, it didn't happen. I had taken it back during warranty and they readjusted the belt but it eventually came back. Then they did the 90k service and it went away but eventually crept back as the belt go older. I just lived with it. It only happened with the temp was less then 25° out and only up the first few times I turned the steering wheel.

well i took it in and they said they didn't see no damage to belts/tensioner... so they just readjusted all the belts and so far it's not making noise... we'll see how it goes next few days... thanks guys~
