Default Difference in MPH vs. KPH needles?

Another question:

When I bought my car, the needles did not show a light and the guy before me painted it in white so it could be seen at night. Now i wanna take on the project of the needles with the LED tipped needles.

All the clusters I can find are in MPH, but I have KPH.

Would there be a difference if I bought a old broken MPH cluster to take on the project of led tips in my Current KPH cluster?

Thanks once again!

Before buying another cluster just for the needles, why not try to remove the white paint from the needles you have? You might be able to scrape off enough paint from the tips of the needles to do the needle fix without having to spend money needlessly on a different cluster. The rest of the white paint (if you can't scrape it all off) could just be blackened out with a black permanent felt marker. You only need to clear off about 1cm at most at the tips of the needles so the light from the LED can show through the opaque plastic window. Just an idea....

That is a good idea. I'll probably end up doing that when I have time later on this semester.

Thanks.
