Default Directions for replacing struts?

Has anyone replaced their own struts? I'm looking for step by step directions to replace struts on a 1995 ES300.

Thanks!

A place to start would be to download the factory service manual.

Here's a free download for the 1993 ES300 here
It should be very close to the FSM for the 1995 model since they are both 2nd generation.

not precisely the same since the front struts changed in design, but yeah, the rear are standard very common, the front have a lot more parts on MY, more expensive on MY year, but i dont think on your year. yours is very run of the mill
just dont kill or mame by rushing the spring compression or using improper tools or procedures.
recommond using toyota /lexus parts AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, but for the struts themselves , springs go good quality or toyota/lexus. EVERY OTHER PART get at toyota, in my opinion
