I have a 1998 ES 300 that I drive now and then. Today I got into it and turned on the radio and adjusted the volume ****. It took 10 seconds to make the volume change when I turn the **** and am concern there is a problem with my radio. I have heard of a trick of undoing the battery for several seconds and connecting it again to reset the cd changer. However, this is only with the volume control. Any ideas as to what might be causing this problem would be appreciated.

Again, anytime I adjust the volume **** on the indash radio it takes 10 - 12 seconds before it adjust.
