When I turned my a/c on today going to work it started to smoke while sitting at a light. There is no odd noise or diffrence besides smoke on vs off. The smoke is coming for the backside along the firewall. I really have no idea what this could be from.

 

Did it have a burning smell?

When you say A/C on. Do you mean actual air conditioning, or just when the blower is turned on? If you have the blower on and turn the A/C off, does it still happen.

 

Did't noitce any burning smell to it. When I mean a/c on is it was blowing cold air, temp was set to max cold. And when the a/c was off nothing of the sort.
But today went to try and look adn see what was causing it and nothing and is just fine so I'm at a loss for what happened.
