Default Cold engine noise on 2002 ES300

Hi,

I have a 2002 ES 300 with only 30K miles. The car makes a lot of squeaky noise in the morning when the engine is still cold. The noise is very loud.

Has anybody have this experience or know what could be wrong with the vehicle?

Regards

Default It could be coming from the belt

I am not sure where it is coming from. Is there a way to tell? May be I should open up the hood and listen.

Thanks

Heres a few solutions

1: Its cold, belts haven't been warmed up and are losing traction against the cold surface.

2:When your car is still for long periods of time, oil seeps to the bottom. When you start it up, there will be less oil circulating through your engine than if you were to use it alot more. It just takes time for the oil to get everywhere and lube up the moving parts.

3:Mine does the sound to on cold mornings, its nothing to worry about, just don't slam the gas pedal and expect it to run like it would on a hot day. Ease it and you'll be fine.
