Unhappy HELP! Air Bag light

So I took out my instrument cluster to replace the needles and backlighting in my 94 es. When I put it back in the car, and turned it on, my air bag light went on.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know what to do? Did the light go on because I took the cluster out, or is it just a coincidence.

Did you turn the key to the "on" position with the instrument panel removed?

It could cause a trouble code and turn on the light. Try unhooking the battery for a minute. If that does not clear the code, then you have either left a plug un plugged, or may need to have a dealer furthur diagnose the problem to find out what is wrong.

there is an airbag connector under the driver's seat that looses its conductivity. ive seen that on more cars than i care to imagine. you could check that if you find that there actually is an airbag problem.
