Default Does the ES have foldable backseats?

please don't give me the use the search thing, as I already have

I was wondering if the rear seats fold down in the ES?

is there an arm rest that folds down in the back seat, if so is there is access to the trunk space through it?

My 97 seats do not fold down, but there is an opening at the arm rest. Probably 8 X 8 inches. The PO said they used it for hauling ski sets.

Thanks
Harry

My '93 ES doesn't have a fold down back seat either but behind the rear armrest is a pass-through door into the trunk. The door is lockable, and included with my car was a long nylon bag for transporting skis, etc.

yeah i wish i had fold down seats on my 93

The design of the trunk is retarded. In order to accommodate the one piece taillights, the back part of the trunk goes straight across....makes loading/unloading luggage a chore

They don't have fold-down rear seats. You could take out your seats easily if you reall yneeded to, but I don't know why they couldn't have added some extra hinges or somthing...
Maybe you could transplant some camry parts into the es?

Cool

Camry's do, ES/Windom's do not.
We have ski pass throughs in the armrest. The seats do not fold down because we have bolt in cross bracing to hold the top of the towers together alittle stiffer.
