Need Help!?
I have a buddy that had to dismantle some civic headlights to create clear corners. He advised me to take the whole headlight casing off the car (bulbs out obviously). And submerge it in hot water. It will loosen up the adhesive to seperate the lens from the main headlight casing. You will obviously have to dry out all parts extremely. Re-adhering the lens back on should be a timely process, repeating the layers approximately three to four times. Each coat of adhesive should be dry, before the next layer of adhesive is applied. I know some things are obvious, but I would feel pretty bad about doing it and having to keep taking out my headlights to dry them out and keep resealing them. Try it out. Iknow when I have a day or two I will do it myself. I priced out new lenses for my 93 es, and being from canada the price is 675.00 per lens:eek: oh well, after all its a lexus not a civic
