Suggestion for emissions problems
Try going to the website for the National Highway Transportation Safety at www.nhtsa.dot.gov. Then go to the place where you can make a complaint about your problem. If we have enough of the o2 sensors being replaced or charcoal cannisters replaced AND we all report it, maybe Toyota will issue a recall/or "enhanced warranty" like they did for the charcoal cannisters for the 96-98 Lexus ES300 models.
I also found out on their board, for those having the P0466 problem, it is a malfunction of the engine light and of this code, and not necessarily a true problem with the charcoal canister. I found this in one of the bulletins they sent to Lexus about this code. If any of you need the bulletin number I have it.
Would this be a good place to say, the squeaky wheel gets the grease? Ha.
