I've learned with the ES that it's better to install the fronts first...the coilovers won't go as low in the front, so if you put the fronts on first, you'll have a better idea of what kinda of stance you want. The rear coils will always go lower than the front (you can tuck the whole rear wheel under the fender), so adjust the stance in front first, then the rear. It will save you alot of time.

AWWWWW Choas you're gonna kill me I forgot to measure. So sorry. It was so hot out today I was just in a rush to get it done and over with. I'll make sure I do it when I do my brakes or I'll see if I can get some specs from Ksport.

But here is a camber plate.

And now for the finale. The front. The fronts were so much easier than the rears. Easy to remove and put back one. Pretty much comes off like the rears but it seems so much shorter for some reason Well here goes

Remove tires of course

Loosen the brakeline holder

Loosen and remove the two strut bolts

Forgot to take a picture but pop the hook and remove the 3 nuts on the top of the strut.

Its cool smitty but I really could use those specs for when I fix my baby. So now that I know what a camber is what does adjusting it do and how do you do it

Smitty Tip :

If you have them where gloves. Keeps you from banging the skin off your knuckles and keeps the grime off your hands and nails. Forgot to do this for the rears. hehe

Carefully measure the height and adjustment of both coilovers to ensure they are the exact same.

Put everything back together and double check to make sure everything is tightened

Call a friend over to help you and double check your work. Sometimes its better to have another set of eyes on something. And besides you can always you an extra hand. In my case it was BernieIS

Well thats it. I'm finally finished. I actually adjusted the camber and height a little more in the front. Dropped it down a little more. I must say it rides pretty well. It is stiff but not too bad of a ride. I've only driven the car roughly 5-10 miles.

Smitty Tip :

After any wheel/tire and suspension modification be sure to get an alignment. Not getting an alignment after suspension mods could result in uneven tire wear and/or even worse damage to your suspension.

I will be taking pictures tomorrow of the drop after my alignment. I'll also be taking pictures this weekend at a carshow I will be attending in Lebanon, PA. If you're in the area and not busy you should come out and kick it with us

Congrats Smitty. I recomment P Tuning for the alignment. Me and Benji have the record for the lowest cars. They had to modify the ramp just for us lol. But they did an excellent job. Have fun at the show. I have summer finals.

Probably one of the best and most detailed writeup's I have seen here on the boards in a long while. Excellent work Smitty. Now quit teasing the people, get some finished product shots of the car and make the ES moderators sticky this thread.
