ES Mods
What modifications are avalaible for the 92 es? For example, I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima and I can put the front brakes from the 04 Maxima which comes with 12" brakes with no problem, thereby giving me an OEM brake upgrade from one model to another model.
A lot of the SC guys upgrade to the LS or Supra brakes which are much bigger and stronger, and I would imagine they could be fit onto an ES as well. But, I don't think we would need them for the ES unless you have a substantial amount of extra power, because our brakes stop just fine as is. Also I know that you can use the Highlander 130w alternator on the ES if you are looking for a little more juice, and it's pretty much a direct swap.
Surely there are other things like this that can be done that some more informed people can chime in with.

i just got the 1992 es 300 5 speed , and im starting from scrach on hooking it up . i see there is alote of information here . i wanted to know if there was any chips , or other ways to get more speed from this model .
I don't recall any performance chips that will give you an instant gain for our 3VZ-FE, but I do recall the general concensus on those ebay chips; "Don't buy them. Those are nothing more than a resistor that fools your car into believing blah blah blah and does nothing but bring harm to your car."
Also, are you looking to go fast in a straight line or faster around corners? Either way, my personal opinion is to improve your suspension first. Look up Pheonix's "The Free Mod Series" topics as well. After that, you'll hear "turbo it."
