hey guys i was gonna wait for the new tanabe but seeing as it might be overpriced i may go with another brand n have a shop custom make it....should i go with magnaflow, flowmaster, or maybe borla....any other suggestions or comments please let me know, thanks in advance guys


ps...is the tanabe exhaust just the muffler? or complete with cat n everything?

 

Things to know

• flowmaster sucks
• retain some form of resonator (pre-muffler)
• <- likes Aeroturbine #1, Borla #2
• Stock cat-back exhaust is 2.25" The cat exit is 2.5". 2.5" - 3" pipe is what you want.

 

If the standard exhaust is 2.25" etc, wouldn't you want to replace it with a 2.5" to ease flow restriction? make the cat exit 2.75"?

you can if you want. there's alittle power differance from the mid-range on by ging with 2.5 then 3" pipe, but it's not earth shattering.

 

Im thinking of getting a custom exhaust made why should I keep a resonator on it? I am just wondering.
