Hi All. I have a 1995 ES 300 and the check engine light has been on for some time. Car seems to run fine. I just had it looked at and replaced the o2 sensor and was told the cel is still on due to a problem with the shift solenoid. does anyone know what this is? it does not seem to effect the performance so I am considering not having it fixed. Thoughts?

 

Go have it checked. It could be as simple as a $150 shift solenoid replacement. This seems to be a common problem with the es's My car has that, but I'm unable to have the car fixed right now
