egr sensor

Default egr sensor

95 es300
i have code p0401
too little egr flow
i recently cleaned the intake but didn't remove sensor(its on the pipe, on right side, on egr valve tube) that was attached to egr assemly, i measure resistance and its zero on egr gas temperature sensor indicates malfunction, open circuit

its on the bottom middle of the pic

new one is expensive $90, does anyone have a used one i can buy?


here is some common problems
P0401 – EGR Insufficient Flow Detected (V-6 engine)
• EGR valve stuck closed
• Open or short in EGR gas temperature sensor circuit
• EGR gas temperature sensor malfunction
• Open or short in VSV circuit for EGR
• EGR VSV malfunction
• Vacuum control valve malfunction
• Vacuum hose disconnected or blocked
• PCM malfunction

If my memory serve me well it's the sensor on top of the EGR with two 8mm screws bolt onto it. I might be wrong on the 95 ES.

its not the sensor one on top of egr. which my 95 doesn't have.
97 and up might not have the sensor i am talking about at all
