i was wondering if someone can help me?? i wanna put 6x9 in my front doors... cuurently i have the 6 1/2. but i want 6x9...how can i do it??

 

Why do you want 6x9 in the front? They're supposed to be in the back... anyways I guess you could try cutting things out...

 

You could cut them out to fit but it's a waste. 6*9's only have more bass than 6.5's from the increase in surface area. The problem with 6*9's is that the relative sound quality of the oblong shape is quite bad. An 8" mid-bass driver would be louder, and MUCH clearer.
I highly suggest getting a good set of 6 1/2" door speakers, and an amp that can properly drive them.

The key, is the amp supplying the power. Under-drive them, and a speaker will wear quickly, distrort when it shouldn't, and any lower sounds it can produce, are not very good.
