Default question about changing front engine mount

Is it easier to change the mount from above or do i need to get under the car?

Any other tips I should know that will make the job easier? I already know to support the oil pan with a broad board and a lift.

Thanks

You have to take off the screws from the bottom and the top. I took mine off from the top, just took off all bolts after taking off from the engine and slid it forward. From there I just kinda swiveled it around the oil filter and between the exhaust and radiator/cooling fan. Oh yea, I also discovered that it was easier to install the new mount after you take off the bracket that attaches it to the block. Make sure you put that rubber protector on your new mount too, it protects it from the oil and other crap. You need to line up the holes though.
